The E12 labs will introduce you to real physical systems. We will explore thermodynamic, electrical, acoustical, and mechanical systems. We will apply techniques learned in the lectures to each of these systems. These techniques will include building theoretical models, analyzing system dynamics, and testing the accuracy of the models we develop. The goal is to prepare you to test, analyze, and understand real systems and how models of those systems work in the real world. (We'll also give you a smattering of programming skills, but keep that to yourself).
